RSV

So, poor little Leif was diagnosed with RSV today. He got a shot of antibiotics because he was getting quite the ear infection. Poor little guy has not been able to hold down food the last couple of days and has just been throwing up mucus like crazy. He has a faucet for a nose and just looks miserable. His eyes are puffy and his color is terrible. Hopefully we can make it through this virus without any hospital visits! His cousin has influenza type B which is what I thought he might have gotten but we got a different virus! Lucky us!! Lily has started getting a bad cough so I'm sure she is the next one to give us trouble! HAHA

He can even smile through all his aches and pains. I wish I could do that more often!

This One's For You Kacie!!!

So, my awesome friend in Ohio called me today and gave me attitude about not updating the blog for awhile. I don't know what her deal is, I talk to her almost every other day. She knows everything about our lives, but since I love her so much here goes!!! Not much exciting in our lives now, just winding down from Christmas still. Lily one Sunday morning wanted to shave like her daddy and so we gave her her first shave. She loved it. Her new favorite thing is to sit with me every morning while I put my makeup on and say, "can you do my eyes and my lips please?"

Leif and Lily love to torture Mia out the window. Poor dog, she knows she is not allowed in the house, but wants to come in and play with the kids so bad! We all know that Dad lets her in when mom is gone and that start wars in this household!!


I think our kids could live in the bathtub!!! They could care less if the water gets freezing cold as long as they get to play in the water! Thank goodness Lily can take as many baths as she wants to now. We will never forget the "not so fun" sponge baths in the sink!

Christmas In Utah!!!

Well, we spent Christmas in Utah this year again because Lily had another appointment at Shriners so we arranged for it to be close to Christmas!! What fun times were had on our trip. I flew out with Lily and Leif on the 16th and Mike and Jacob met us out there on the 20th. We had fun visiting many friends that still live out there and ones in town for the Holiday. We came home on the 30th (my birthday) and have been bored ever since. We were able to do a lot while we were out there and are planning our trip out this summer in June for Mikes brother's wedding already!!

Lily and Grandpa Hansen had a blast in the snow together. I think Lily could live outside, never come in, and be happy!!!

Jake, Mike, and Grandpa went out in the mountains and cut down a tree. They all had snow shoes and Jake did great in them!! He picked a very Charlie Brown tree but he had a blast!!

Lily stole Grandpa's heart the entire trip! Talk about picking favorites!!! HAHA

Presents everywhere!

Leif was the most insane unwrapper ever! He was more excited than both Lily and Jacob. It was funny!!

Lily and Jake absolutely love their uncle Ben!! Whenever he was not around they asked where he was!
Talk about being tired after playing with new toys all day!!! I don't know how they sleep close to each other. I'm sure they kick each other all night!!!

Lily and Grandma spent time making cookies together and Lily loved it!!!

We had a great time visiting with friends from Ohio. Mike was excited to catch up with his great friend Wade! We definately need to do it more often!! How sad but this is the only picture I took because I forgot I had my camera the whole time we were there!
