Trip to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital

Lily and I headed down to Dallas for the day to get a second opinion on her hips. We got good news for the day and had a good time together! It was a really cool hospital!

Long day and long drive home!!!

Uncle Blaine stops in for a visit!!

Uncle Blaine stopped in while on the way to Nauvoo. He brought 8 other adults to spend the night and then headed out at 3 am to meet the youth in Missouri. It was fun having him here for the night! I love my Uncle Blaine!!!

This was the Stake President in Midland and he was a hit with the kids. They sang songs all night!

Who said boys can't pull off looking good in a dress! Well, our Leif can. I sat back and laughed while Mike had a heart attack in the corner! At least they were getting along and playing well together! That means a lot in my book!!!

It was so hot outside the kids needed to have some fun in the water! Thank goodness for water toys. It was almost unbearable outside! Where is the swimming pool when you need it?

Headed Home!!!

Wendy lead the way home and then Eric and Wendy's family stayed another few days to play and have Mike work on their teeth! It was a fun visit with the cousins and we loved having them here! Thanks for coming guys! The kids were totally bored when everyone left! BUMMER

These two were laying in bed playing the leapster for about 30 min. Of course when I got my camera Brandt decided it was time to get up! Little stinker!

Quick stop in Redwing, MN!!!

I love this town! I think it is so quaint and peaceful there! Mike's parents were visiting Mike's uncle Bruce in Redwing so on the way home from Wisconsin we decided to drop in for just an hour to say hello! His cousin was there as well! We were following Eric and Wendy home so they got to join in the visit! Too short of a visit but great to see everyone!

I did not tell the kids we were stopping to see everyone. When we pulled up to this the house all the kids asked what we were doing. I told them we were taking a bathroom break and asked if Jacob would please go knock on the door and ask if we could use the restroom. He looked at me as if I was nuts and then Grandma Hansen opened the front door and started to walk out. I said to Jake, "Go ask that lady is we can use her bathroom." He again looked at me like I was nuts. He did not even recognize her! She had a new hairdo and looked totally different to him. Leif recognized Grandma very quick and ran to hug her. Poor Jake was upset with himself that he did not know who she was and was crying because he thought he hurt her feelings. My sweet Jake!! Gotta love him!!!

AE Bushman Family Reunion!!!

The reunion this year was in Wisconsin! We all drove up there and met at the YMCA campgrounds. It was a really nice place with lots to do! We all had a blast and loved being together. The cabin we stayed in had four bedrooms off a large living area and kitchen. It was perfect! Thanks Amy for planning it!
