Happy New Year!

This is how Leif rang in the new year! He set up a box and just sat there all night and drew pictures!  I love my Leif!  We all watched movies until midnight.  I think we watched 3 movies in all.  All the kids made it till midnight and we had a quick celebration and went back to finishing up the last movie!!

So hard to say goodbye :(

It is always so heart breaking to see them so upset when it is time for Grandma and Grandpa to leave!  I am so glad they love them so much!

Happy Birthday to Mom!

Well I am now 37 and can't believe I actually remembered that!  HAHA I usually have to ask Mike how old I am!  I had a fun relaxing day! Mike got me two things from Raspberry's and Creme!  He got me a chocolate pie and chocolate cake!  Yum!

Comfortable?

Leif made himself a nice comfortable bed out of the two chairs in the living room!  He loves his new blanket from Grandma Hansen!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!!  Jacob woke up before everyone and just patiently went out into the living room and watched TV until there was some movement in the house from someone else.  He is not a normal kid!  I would have woken everyone up immediately. Pretty sure he had been awake for at least an hour.  HAHA  We all woke up and started opening the loot!  They kids got what they wanted and we had both set of Grandparents there to enjoy it!  What a blessing for my children.  I love that they can have that experience with both sets of Grandparents.  We took lots of pictures, ate breakfast casserole, and played with all the toys the rest of the day!  Grandma Hansen made the kids each a blanket that we love!  Such a fun day!!!

Christmas Eve!

We had a wonderful dinner of Cheese Soup of course!  I love Barb's cheese soup.  After dinner we opened up the traditional Christmas Eve PJ's and some how the kids always forget what the presents are they are opening.  They are always bummed to find out they are just pajamas.  HAHA We got ready for bed and watched some favorite Christmas movies and then headed to bed!

 

 

 
We didn't forget to put out the reindeer food for the reindeer of course! Along with cookies and milk for Santa before going to bed!

 

I can't forget to take pictures of all my cute babies as they sleep Christmas Eve!!!  I love doing this every year!!!

 

 

 

 

Christmas festivities have begun!

Grandma and Grandpa Hansen got here two days ago! Just in time for Christmas parties at school!  Mike got to come to Luke's party with us and then after we went and had lunch with Leif.  Poor Leif.  His mother just completely forgot to go to his Thanksgiving lunch with him.  Ever since he has been begging for us to come eat lunch with him!  He loved it and then it was Lily's turn!  Gun day with the Grandparents and then home from school to play!  Luke loved playing in the leaves today by the garage!  We had a huge wind storm and collected quite a few by the garage!!!!
