BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

So the kiddos went back to school today and Lily for the first time! They were both very excited! Jacob refused to let me drive him to school on the first day! He insisted on riding the bus. Lily is in afternoon Pre K so I take her to school at 1 pm and then I pick them both up at 3:30! I am sad not to have Jake around during the day now. He is a big 1st grader and is no longer my big helper at home! What will I ever do without him here! He is excited to eat lunch at school with his friends and already today thought as soon as he got home he was starving! HAHA Lily got Jacob's old Pre K teacher from a couple of years ago and we are so excited about that! She is AWESOME!! She even remembered Lily and was excited she was in her class.

This was before Jake left to catch the bus!

What a couple a cuties!!

Going to the bus stop!!!

Chillin at the bus stop!!!

Here comes the bus!!!
See you later Mom!!!

Then Came Lily's First Day In The Afternoon!!!

Grandma Bushman came over to watch Leif so I could take Lily into the classroom and say goodbye!!!

Lily has to carry this tote instead of a backpack! Apparently to many parents were buying their kids to small of a backpack so they make Pre K carry this instead!!

Here I come John Ross!!!

Waiting in line with her class before they go into school!!!

Some of Lily's new classmates! Then it was time for me to say goodbye. She just waived and really didn't care that I was leaving!!!

Leif waiting with me to pick up them up on their first day!!!

Here they are ready and waiting to be picked up!!! Aren't they cute!!!

HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!!

So, today is my mom and dad's 40th anniversary!!! Wow! That's awesome they have been together this long! I love that my parents still love each other and can't live without each other even though dad just retired completely and bugs mom all day long now. It is funny to see their little tiffs all the while knowing that they would not know what to do without one another! I am so grateful for the example they have set for my family and my brothers families. They have taught us all how important it is to have a happy family and spend time together. I love that I come from parents that have stuck together so many years. It is a comfort to me knowing that in todays time it is still possible to have a life long, and eternal marriage! No matter what they say, I know they love living by Ryan and I and we are so lucky to have our children become such great friends with them. That means a lot!!! Thanks for being the wonderful parents you are! We can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries in the years ahead!!

WE LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!!

WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA!!!

Family Back in Town For a Visit!!!

Eric and Wendy came back in town for Eric's 20 year high school reunion! Man he's old!! They stayed for about a week and all the kids had fun together again! Good times. Here are some of the happenings!!!

Leif checking out the two other hoodlums! Why are his pants on backwards? Oh yea, dad was in charge!!

Huh, are you talking to me!!

They brought their dog Oliver and Lily fell in love! When she first saw him though she screamed her head off like that little thing was about to eat her!

Leif loved his uncle Eric after he got use to his antics!

Jake had to show the cousins his Transformer movie that came with his toys. He would not let them go home until they saw it. He asked aunt Wendy and I quote, "Can they watch Transformers Animated, The Battle Begins. Optimus Prime Vs. Magatron." Wendy enjoyed that one!

Mike came home from work after everyone had finished dinner so he ate later. The three musketeers thought they were still hungry and hovered around him like little birdies waiting for food!

Jake had his tonsils out the week before and propel and apple juice were his staple!

Poor little Jakie kept getting tired and sick with all that was going on. He just couldn't keep up with everyone. Cecily was always there to make him feel better. He fell asleep on her for awhile! Thanks Ces!!!
