A brief return!

Leif made a very unexpected but brief return of the cross dressing stage! Just one more time I guess and dad was not around to witness thank goodness. He does make a great looking princess though don't you think!!!

Tornado Party!

Silly me posted on face book "Tornado Party at the Hansen's tonight." Well, not to much later the phone calls began to come in! We ended up having several families ride out the storm in style! I think we had close to 30 people at the house! James Stuart brought tons of pizza and all the kids played and watched Tangled while the adults chatted and watched the weather. Thank goodness none of them came close but it was a big tornado day throughout the metro with lots of damage!

After the storms rolled by we all stayed around playing and chatting a little while longer!!!

Finally some rain!!

We finally got some much needed rain and took advantage of playing in the puddles! Luke was in heaven!! He kept looking at me making sure it was okay that he got wet! How sad, am I really that uptight?

Lily's Award's Assembly

So proud of my pretty girl!! She got lots of great awards and looked adorable! On our way out all of the 1st grade teachers kept pulling me aside telling me what a happy spunky little girl Lily is. It is obvious that she lights up a room wherever she is! We love you Lily!!!

Family Home Evening!

Thanks to Ryan for calling up and inviting himself over to go fishing for family home evening we actually did it! HAHA We had the Skinners and Dickmans over as well and went fishing at the pond by our neighbors house. Wow! Lots of memories came rushing in by being out there! The water was really low but we did catch a couple fish! The kids had a blast! We need to do it more often! Lily was the only one of the kids apparently to catch a fish! Boy was she proud of herself!

Jake's Program and Award's Assembly

Jacob had his school program that involved lots of singing and dancing! He did great and then the next morning we got to attend his awards assembly! He go so many awards! We are so proud of him! He did great and was one good looking dude up there on that stage! Congrats Jake!!!

My kids are so lucky to have memories of their Grandparents like these!!! I did not have that with my grandparents where I knew them so well one on one. I love watching their relationship grow!!! Lily can't get enough of being around her Grandma!!

End of Season for the Crush

Lily had another great season with the Orange Crush! She loves these girls and I am so happy she found such a good team to play with!!!

Poor Dog!

Thank goodness Maya is a good and patient dog. Anytime Luke is around he has to climb all over her. He loves giving her hugs and kisses. Okay I will admit Maya is a great dog! She is great with the kids and they love her. I know big admission coming from me!
