I'M IN LOVE!!!!

I am in love with this new little boy!! He is so sweet! Even though he sucks at sleeping I can't get enough cuddling. This one has been so much more stress free than the others for some reason. I am recovering much faster and not worrying about the little things! Just loving the last one!!! Here is a quick update on all the happenings that have gone on this past 6 days!

This is me at about 6pm on Thursday Oct. 15th. Not knowing that only 2 1/2 hours later Luke would already be here. Still can't believe how fast everything went.

Here we go. It is about 7 pm and I got the pitocin to get me going. I was only dilated to maybe a 1 at this point!

Oh My hubby loves me!!

I had the most absolute best nurse ever named Kacie and I forgot to get a good picture with her! Best nurse I have had by far giving birth!!!

He came fast and furious and I will spare you the gross pictures of the birth! Here the nurse is sucking out all the blood you inhaled because my placenta ruptured during the incredibly fast birth. I guess I was bleeding pretty bad. Thank goodness you came fast. I was a 7 when Dr. Goff said just give me a push and we will see what happens and then about 5 pushes later you were here. I most likely would have been an emergency c-section if you did not come so quickly! Thanks for helping your mother out little Luke!!!!

Here is the little ugly monster! I don't think brand newborns are all that cute. Little alien looking things! HAHA

The best doctor in the world, Dr. Goff. He is amazing! Love him!

What a guy!

Both Grandmas could not be happier to see the little guy! Glad they both got to be there! Although Grandma Bushman got a little grossed out and got a little nausea's because of all the blood from my placenta rupturing. A little scary I guess.

You are so loved!

You ended up being 6 lbs. 4 oz. once you finally held still.

Dad loves his little guy!

Leif was in love the second he saw you! He kept calling you baby Brooklyn though!

Lily just cuddles you like a little doll. It is so cute!

Jake is so gentle with you and loves to whisper in your ear!

Can you believe I have 4 kids!! Crazy!

Going home! We went home on Sat. Oct. 17th

Grandma Bushman was there still to help us out to the car!

Coming home to a new house. Still strange but we love it here!!!

Lily and Jacob were right there waiting for us to get home!

Your coming home outfit. Like how I tucked the socks into your pants to keep them on!!

There is nothing there! You are so tiny! My smallest, skinniest baby by far!!

What a cutie!!

Aren't I a handsome little devil!

Leif thinks you need to have the bear dad gave you at the hospital everywhere you go!

Here is cousin Brooklyn who is only 2 1/2 months older than you! She is huge compared to you! Leif of course had to join in!

Leif loves to sit at the edge of your seat and kiss you all the time!

FIRST BATH

I finally gave in and gave you a bath. You are so small I feel like I could break you so easily for some reason! We got through it though. I saved my favorite baby wash they discontinued making and bought a ton of it on ebay when Leif was still a baby. You smell just like I remember all of my babies smelling. So glad I bought so much of it!!!

You actually love the warm water and don't complain at all until you are out of it!

Put some clothes on me mom I'm freezing!!!

New School!

The Monday after I had Luke, Jake and Lily started their new school! I was nervous that they would be sad to leave their friends and teachers behind but oh how wrong I was. Grandma Hansen was still in town so she took them on their first day for me. Jake was a tiny bit nervous, but Lily could have cared less. She is now in full day kindergarten in this school and loves eating lunch at school! I have to admit it is nice for her to be there all day although Leif misses her and is going to be pretty bored with just me. Their new school is called Grove Valley and it is brand new this year. The kids could not be happier! They both made new friends quickly and love the newness of the school. Jacob loves all the new electronic gizmo's he calls them that the school has.

Here we go!!!

Lily's new teacher Mrs. Paulk

Jake's new teacher Mrs. Bertholf!

Here's Luke

Luke Ause Hansen arrived October 15th 2009 @ 8:29pm. He weighed 6lbs 4oz and was 20.5 in long. He didn't waste any time. Heather was induced around 6:00pm, water broke at about 7:30pm and he was here by 8:30. All was well for about an hour and then his lungs weren't quite doing what they were supposed to, so, it was off the the NICU. They kept him there over night on a positive pressure C-Pap. They removed it at 9:00am this morning and he seems to be doing great now. He is expected to be released from the NICU late this afternoon. Heather is tired but doing great!

Both Grandmas were there

Prego Buddies!

So my great friend Janna and I have gone through this pregnancy together! It has been fun comparing notes with each other and having someone to sympathize with. She is actually due the middle of Nov. I have loved having her along for the ride and can't wait until she has hers too. I am going to be induced either this Thursday or Sunday. I am just waiting on the phone call to see which day is best for the doc since I am doing another V-BAC! Wish me luck!

Please ignore how massively fat I am. I have gained much more weight with this one than with both Lily or Leif. This pregnancy has been more like Jacobs. MISERABLE!!!

Just the Everyday Stuff!

It rained really hard here the other day and Lily and Leif decided to go collect some worms and feed them to the fish. They both love doing this and had a blast together. Of course, I did not get any pictures of them actually feeding them to the fish! Oh well, next time!

This is how Leif and Lily frequently watch TV. Kinda cute. They like to sit next to each other wherever they are!

Leif just chillin' with Grandma having a sucker! Shush, don't tell his dad he is eating a sucker! Leif sure does love his Grandma!

The Baby Without A Name

Can you believe I am finally getting around to posting some baby pics. The day is almost here and I have not done this yet. Poor fourth child! So here are some ultrasound pictures of the squirt since the beginning! I have picked out some of my favorites out of the 50 or so I have! Going to the doctor every week does have it perks throughout your pregnancy, lots of pics. I have been having contractions with this one much earlier than with any of my others. I never really had them with the other three. This one wants me to know he is in there! I have been more stressed this pregnancy though due to the swine flu going around rampantly, we are moving this weekend, and getting the kids ready for their new school. I am hoping to be induced next Saturday the 17th but my doctor thinks I will have it before then. Lets hope we can get moved before that happens. I am excited to add another boy to the family and can't wait to have my three mommas boys at my side. We just need to actually agree on a name first! Any suggestions!!!

It looks like a miniature upside down chicken
