Sleeping Leif!

Poor kid needs to find a bed and figure out how to put his under ware on the right way and not backwards! I love this kid so much!!!

So Leif came up to Mike this morning w/ a helium balloon from his cousin's birthday party yesterday. Both he and the balloon were a bit deflated and he turns to me and says: "Dad my balloon ran out of batteries. Can you get some new ones for it?"

Mike posted it on face book and here was some comments!

Eric Bushman: And like a good father you immediately got some batteries, right?!?

Mike Hansen: Eric, I immediately popped the BALLOON :) and placed batteries inside. Still wouldn't float but it looked cool.

Status update from Mike's facebook account: ER or no ER that is the question. Last night we had a end of summer pool party for the youth in our church. Boys will be boys and a bout of rough housing escalated. One young man w/ a real future in base ball took a swing at me w/ a water cannon and connected. I thought he broke my tooth, in which case they would have had to burry him. No, just ripped a 15mm gash all the way through my lip. When I moved my lip it would open up about 3mms. ER ho! Oh not today sports fans. A quick trip to the office, Numbed it up, Stitched it up, Gitty UP! A little 5.0 vycril suture and six single interupteds later - Wa-freakin'-la. Plastics here we come.

He thinks he is so cool now! Impressive though!

OMG I Have 4 Kids!

And they are adorable!

Oh Deer!!!

We have three baby deer and two adult deer that have been hanging out in the front yard all summer long! They just hang out all times of the day eating the pears off the pear tree! I love this!!! I love living somewhere that we can enjoy animals and nature like this! The kids always get excited when they are outside and frequently yell, "The deer are outside," and everyone comes running to look every time.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!

Yeah!!! Back to school time! Lily was so dang excited to start school again! Jacob on the other hand has started to get a little older now and decided that he had to play it cool. He kept telling us he was not really excited, but would get the biggest grin on his face at the same time! What a silly kid! He was ready too! Are they not the cutest kids ever!

Lukie Was Tired!!!

My sweet Luke was so tired. This is the first time he has just gone to sleep on the floor somewhere! What a sweetheart. He is taking after his brother Leif who falls asleep everywhere.
