Halloween!

I was not feeling so well so I went to bed at like 7 pm while Mike to the kids to the old hang out!  We miss bits of Cedar Pointe!  This group always goes together and they have a blast.  The kids of course came home with TONS of candy!

Playing Well Together? What?

We stayed home from church together today because Dad is out of town and Jake is sick.  I could not believe my eyes when Lily and Leif played together quietly and without any fighting I must say.  It actually lasted about 2 hrs.  I know, weird.  It had to be documented!  They made a great big round fence and then proceeded to make a zoo with lots of people on the outside looking in!  We will see if we can actually keep this together for dad to see tonight when he gets home!  The little monster might have his way with it!

Trunk or Treat

Tonight was our ward Trunk or Treat!  Jake was not feeling well so he stayed home with dad.  The kids had a fun time!  I even convinced Lily to wear her butterfly costume from last year again.  She will be wearing a different costume for Halloween but this one still fit and is so dang cute on her.  They got tons of candy of course and so the overloading on sugar begins!

 

 

Sleepy Heads

I learned something new at dinner today!  How sad, but I had no idea you could zoom in with the        iphone and take closer pictures!  Ryan told us of this great feature at dinner tonight!  Funny thing is he has a blackberry!  HAHA

 

Progress!

Well, we now have a pretty good size hole for the basement!  The kids think it is a pretty fun place to play!  Ryan stopped by to hang out with the kids tonight and they had fun running around and playing on the tractor!  This is exciting!!!

 

 

 

 

VERY BIG DAY!!!!

It was a big day today!  Luke got to ride the bus to and from school!  He was in heaven!  The bus actually comes down our long drive way and picks him up every M-W-F.  We joke because he rides the "short bus"!  Poor kiddo.  He loves school and the bus which is the most important thing! My parents came over because they could not stand the suspense of the next big thing that happened today!  So they were there waiting with me to see him get off the bus!  He then jumped on the back of the truck with them and told them all about his day!

 

The second exciting thing of the day is:  We finally started building!!!!  It has been about three years of planning and the day has finally arrived!  we have a road and start of a basement!  My dad could not stand it and had to come see the progress.  We are very excited and nervous for this new adventure but can't wait to see the finished product!!!!

 

YOWZA!!!

That one had to hurt!  The egg on the right is huge!!!  The one on the left is one of the bigger eggs we usually get!  Poor chicken!!

 

Happy Birthday Luke!

Luke turned 3 today!  Guess what he got to do on his birthday!  Start Public School!  I was really nervous for him to start but he was so excited!  Thank goodness.  I took him in early and got a few pictures!  He will start riding the bus in a few days!  That is what he is really excited for!  I think he will love that!  When the kids got home from school we went and picked up a pizza (Luke's choice of coarse), then came home and had a small family party!  I made a cool cake the day before and Mike and the kids decorated it while Luke and I took a nap!  Not a bad deal huh!  Thanks pinterest for the idea!  It turned out wonderful!  Luke got lots of great cheap presents from Grandma Bushman that of coarse broke within the next few days!  HAHA All in all it was a fun day!  Luke kept walking around saying "Happy Birthday" to himself!  It was really cute! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The End

Luke has been in Speech Therapy for about 6 months now and it has come to an end.  Mrs. Nita was his teacher.  She provided in home therapy for him.  She was Awesome!  I was so sad to see her go.  Luke loved her and she did her job well.  He went from talking not at all to saying tons of things.  He is finally able to communicate with us!  Yay!  Maybe the tantrums will be gone for good! 

Conference

So here is what happens in the Hansen house during conference!  We thought about having a party for the one year anniversary on the 4th of Oct. of Mike cutting his hand.  A nap sounded like a much better idea!

Snuggle Day!

Leif woke up not feeling well today.  I decided we would have a snuggle day on the couch watching movies all day!  I love hanging out with this kid!  He is so stinking funny and sweet!  Funny thing was that I was the one that ended up taking a nap on the couch all afternoon while he watched away what was on the TV!
