We took the plunge and want Jacob and Leif to share a room. They are such great friends and loved the idea of sharing! I am sure that will come to an end as Jacob gets older, but for now I love the fact that they are such good friends they want to be together all the time. I like the idea of sharing rooms so they don't get too spoiled with their own spaces and toys and things. Hopefully this will be a good thing! Gives us more room in the house anyway! Jacob decided he wanted a bunk bud and we wanted to keep his queen size bed for guests. The perfect solution was this loft bed! They all love it and we still have a queen bed for guests!! The sharing begins!!!

Lily Graduates From Pre K!
I can't believe my Lily is in Kindergarten now! She absolutely loved her teachers and cried when she found out she would not have them next year! School is her thing! She thrives on the social interaction and loves having many friends! Her teacher Mrs. Hopkins calls her the class clown! Not the trouble maker class clown but the one with the most personality! That is our Lily! We are so proud of her! She tells us everyday how excited she is to go back to school next year, make new friends, love her new teacher, and most importantly ride the school bus!
For her graduation the kids sang songs they learned and did some dances as well. That is right up Lily's alley. Of course she was the bell of the ball and sang the loudest and danced the craziest! She is always the life of the party!
She was so proud of herself!

Lily was spacing out and acting like she was playing the piano during the Pomp and Circumstance song!!
Mrs. Hopkins whispered to us as we were leaving, "We just love Lily and I could and want to take her home to my family. She is one of the few that I can actually say that about!" Then she quickly whispered again, "Oh, I better not say that to loud huh!" Lily definitely has the ability to win many hearts over!!

Sleepy Kiddos and Grandpas
Grandpa Hansen came to visit and get some dental work done for about four days!! The kids always love for him to visit! Okay we all do!!! Lily enjoyed an afternoon nap with her awesome Grandpa and Leif died on the couch after playing so hard with him. Thanks for coming Grandpa!!!
Aunt Megan Comes to Babysit!!!
While we were on the cruise we flew Mike's sister out here to babysit the kids! What an AWESOME aunt they have to want to come out and spend time with them. She did wonderful!!! The kids absolutely love her and Leif kept calling me Megan for the next week! Then he just kept saying, "Where go Megan?" He really missed her and still today he asks where she is! Too bad it rained the entire week she was here and her and the kids were stuck inside most of the week! Megan took much better pictures throughout the week of their activities that I will get from her and post soon. Thanks Megan for coming and letting the kids love their aunt!

Our Exciting Cruise to Nowhere!!!!
The week of April 27th to May 2nd we were able to take a fabulous cruise on the Carnival ship Ecstasy! Although we had great excursions planned on our stops in Progresso and Cozymel we had so much better of a time hanging out on the boat the entire five days! The week of our cruise was the entire swine flu outbreak. Carnival canceled all stops to any Mexican ports the day after we left Galveston. Thank goodness we had a fun group to hang out with for the five days in the Gulf of Mexico. Three of my brothers and their wives came too and tons of fun was had by all. We could not have asked for better people to travel with! Thanks everyone for letting us tag along!!!!
Our first dinner on the cruise! I think we all had a couple entrees each along with several desserts!! Yum Yum!!
That night we all got comfortable and put headed to the card room and played cards while listening to comedy that Mike downloaded onto his ipod!
DAY 2
We all kind of did our own things for most of the day and met up here and there. We played minature golf, volleyball, shuffle board and just hung out on the deck by the pool. It was a very relaxing day!
Tonight was our formal dinner night and we loved our waiter Juan! Every night at dinner he would give us some sort of riddle to figure out. It drove me crazy because he would not tell us the answer until the next night! He was great!

Mike for the life of him cannot keep his eyes fully open for any pictures. Wendy was laughing so hard at him! Every picture she took his right eye would partly close anticipating the flash! What a goof ball!
We finished the night with card playing again! What a fun day!!!
DAY 3
We all hung out together here and there and did the usual of laying out on the deck and playing games. Fortunately we became very good at all the trivia games they had to offer on the ship! I did not take many pictures this day!
DAY 4
We all had breakfast together today! Of coarse we played more games and just hung out and listened to everyone on the boat complain about not stopping anywhere. We actually made it a fun trip despite the fact we never got off!
Wendy decided to do a karaoke this night. It was hilarious! She pick an M and M song that had tons of cuss words in it. She tried hard to keep up but it was too dang fast. She just kept laughing in the microphone, "Oh I am not going to say that." It was so funny!!!
Throughout the cruise we played many games! We started to get quite a collection of trophies and medals!
This is everyone playing one of the Sudoku puzzles the ship had everyday. While I was taking this pictures I stepped on Mike's sunglasses and broke them! Whoops!!!
Mike in his lovely broken sunglasses!!
They won a lovely bottle of Champagne! How cool was that! Afterwards we all went and got sloshed!! JK that night Eric and Wendy traded in their lovely champagne and got all of us virgin daiquiris for dinner!
We decided on this last night to show off all the winnings of the whole cruise! We proudly wore our medal and carried our trophies held high to show our Smarts! Everyone in the dining room was pretty impressed!
Later that night the three of us decided to do a song at karaoke! Sarah our hip hop queen in the family said that she knew the dance to the video of Brittany Spears Oops I Did It Again! So Allyson and I proudly sung the song while Sarah danced away! What fun!
THE LAST BREAKFAST!!!
What an end to a great trip! We had a huge breakfast and each of us gained enough weight to go into hibernation for a year or so.
Mike walking down the hall: "I know I've gained weight! My belly shakes now and it didn't used to do that when I farted." He meant, "when it started."
Dancing on the pagoda and having Ryan do an MC Hammer move and having the crowd cheer--who knew they were watching us?
"Gilly!!!!" "Sarry!"
"Take Luck!"
"For FREEEEEE?"

Jacob's First Piano Recital!
A couple of weeks ago Jacob had his very first piano recital! He did so good! He was funny, the whole week before he kept asking me what he should do if he messes up. Should he start over or just keep going. He did great and only messed up once. He gave a great bow at the end that of course we did not get a picture of! Thanks Aunt Sarah for being a great teacher!!!
