It's Mom's Birthday!

Can you believe it! I am 36! WOW! Time is sure flying by! I had a wonderful birthday! It was perfect weather outside so we took advantage! Janna and her kids came over to play and she and I went to get lunch at Big Truck Tacos and brought it home to eat on the patio. Then Mike gave me a cake from Raspberries n' Creme! YUM!!! We all ate that and then later that night I we to see a movie with the girls and then ate with Janna at Olive Garden and talked till midnight! It was a great day!

My mom brought me a birthday cake too so the kids got to eat that one! Not my special one!! HEHE

Christmas Morning!!!

The kids were tired from staying up late apparently! They only got us up at about 7 am this morning! We brought our computer into the living room so we could Face Time with Grandma and Grandpa Hansen. They watched the kids open all of their presents. That was fun! Luke did not get up until about 7:30 when Grandma Bushman went in and woke him up! They all scored great stuff and loved every minute of the morning! Luke was not that into it! He would get excited to open something for about a second and then move on to play with other stuff! The kids helped him of course open all of his!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve was great! We actually had a party with the Skinners and the Taylors of which I did not even take any pictures. Shame on me!!! We had bread bowls and cheese soup and everyone brought some appetizers and desserts! The party ended at around 7:30 when everyone went home. Then the family party began. Grandma and Grandpa Bushman came over all ready for bed. They actually spent the night in Leif's room! We opened Christmas PJ's and a great book that Grandma and Grandpa Hansen sent! Then we watched Miracle on 34th Street and stayed up until about midnight! It was a fun night!!!

The kids each got an email with video from Santa! Leif was so excited! Even Luke got one and at the end the elves had a meter that read if you were on the good list or naughty list!

Leif was not to excited about the movie and Jake was in and out playing his DS!

Everyone is listening to the book that Grandma and Grandpa Hansen sent! "Twas the Night Before Christmas" read and recorded by them! They loved it!!!

Spelling Bee

Lily was one of two people from her class to make it into the spelling bee! She was so excited! She did well although did not win. She misspelled mimic. Funny thing is in studying she always got that one right! So proud of that girl!!! Not to mention look at how freaking cute she is!!!

Luke had to go see how Jake was doing in the audience!!!

Our Friends!!!

Every morning for the past few weeks our friends have been visiting us! We love it!!!

Little Stinker!

Leif has been sneaking out of his room and watching us every night lately! He just like to lay on the floor by the fish tank and check out the action he is missing! Well tonight he fell asleep! Mike and I did not notice until we went to turn off all the kids lights for the night! Such a little punk!

Thumb's up Brandt!

Leif really wanted to text Brandt a thumbs up letting him know he is doing great at getting better! Brandt has been in the hospital for a few days running tests to see why he is throwing up and stomach hurting so much! We hope he gets better soon!!! Thank goodness he texted back a thumbs up in response! Leif thought that was pretty cool!

Terrific Kid

Lily was the terrific kid at school this morning! She was so proud of herself. I think her certificate stated that she was the most compassionate in her class ! Yeah Lily!

Cristmas Card Photo Attempt!! HAHA

So since we were all dressed up looking our best for church I thought I would try and snap a photo of the kids for our Christmas card this year! Well, it started out terrible but ended up okay. I actually got a pretty cute one! Luke had his sippy cup to make him happy and all was well!

Decorating the Christmas Tree!

Finally got around to decorating the tree tonight! Mike and the kids did it actually! I was tired from cleaning all day and putting up all the house decorations that Mike took over for me with the kids help!!! They did a fantastic job and nothing got broken! Yeah!!!
