80 Degree's in January!!!

It was so beautiful out today!! We spent all day outside! I love living on all this land! The kids spent the day exploring in the field! It was a great day!! We found a pretty big raccoon dead up on one of the hills. The kids had fun getting rid of it with dad. Must have gotten hit by a car and wandered over here to die! Sad!

SCOUT (The bald eagle)

Lily's class has a Bald Eagle named Scout! Each child gets to bring Scout home for a night and take care of him! Tonight was Lily's turn. After you spend the night with Scout you are to write down in a class journal what you did with him during your visit and put pictures in as well. Lily had a blast writing in the journal about her night with scout. Even though it was a fairly boring night of events, she loved it!

Lily's Class Presentaion!

Lily's class did their little play in front of the school today at Antler Alert! She did great! I told her before hand that she needed to talk loud so we could hear her and she did not disappoint! It was all about how people are different yet the same with cowboy music and actions! It was fun!!!

Daddy took his Princess to the Ball!!!

So tonight I took my little princess out to the ball. It was our first Daddy-Daughter Dance. She wore this outfit because she said it was a queen outfit and she could boss around all the princesses that would be there. It was a blast! It reminded me of prom or something. We showed up, stood in line for our professional photos and then went into the gym for a dance and dinner. I bought a $3 rose on the way through the door that didn't make it 20 ft into the gym before it was obliterated. Lily quickly forgot about that when her favorite song was being spun by the DJ. We ran out on to the dance floor and only stopped for a quick bite to eat and a potty break. Yeah, we danced circles around the other dads and princesses. At the end of the night, we were the last ones standing, closed the place down. I'm going to be sore tomorrow. Even though Lily is our little socialite and tons of girls came up to say "Hi Lily", Dad was the most important person in the room. All she wanted to do is dance with me. It was awesome. I wonder how much longer that will last. Not long I'm sure. It was great tonight though.

Our First Eggs!!!

Yes we got our first eggs. They were probably there for a week or two and were frozen solid! How exciting! Guess it is time to start eating eggs! Thank goodness at least Jacob loves eggs!
