A White Christmas Oklahoma Style!!!
We are currently experiencing the fun winter storms in Oklahoma. Everything is totally coated in ice and looks like more is coming! Christmas came early and church was canceled yesterday. No dealing with kids in Sacrament, Yeah!!! School of course was canceled today and tons of Mike's patients canceled as well. We did not have power for a lot of last night and it got very cold in the house. We are one of the lucky ones that got power back today. Apparently there our 400,000 people in the Oklahoma City metro area that don't have power. I am guessing ours will go out again tonight when the second wave of ice hits us. I hope this all goes away by the weekend so I can actually make it to Utah for Lily and Leif's doctor appointments all next week.

Poor Maya has no where to go to the bathroom when she goes outside. There is ice everywhere. For those of you who don't know, yes we got a dog. Mike decided that I was never going to let him get one so he just showed up with Maya one day without my permission. I have to admit she is a wonderful dog and never barks! The kids love her and she loves them. I still have yet to pet or play with her. (I really can't stand dogs) The kids are great with her and that is all that matters I guess!! Jake and Lily absolutely love to take her for walks every night and I guess it gets them away from the TV and spending time with the family!

wade was just asking me again last night about getting a dog. we already backed out of getting one dog and now he's trying to con me into getting another one. hopefully mike doesn't mention his genius idea to wade.
I totally forgot that you had a dog! You NEVER talk about it! Funny! I was wondering if you had lost power with the ice storms...repeat from last winter! Move back to Ohio :)
So Mike, with these ice storms, have you pulled out your ice skates to go to work! Sounds like it is pretty crazy out there (but I have to admit that it does look fun!).
