Near our house there was a set up of all kinds of safety vehicles and demonstrations for kids to learn about being safe and what to do in emergencies. The kids loved it. They brought home lots of reading materials, stickers, pencils, tatoos (which they have all over their bodies), and other cool stuff. I am glad our community does things like this for the kids!!!
