Luke Ause Hansen arrived October 15th 2009 @ 8:29pm. He weighed 6lbs 4oz and was 20.5 in long. He didn't waste any time. Heather was induced around 6:00pm, water broke at about 7:30pm and he was here by 8:30. All was well for about an hour and then his lungs weren't quite doing what they were supposed to, so, it was off the the NICU. They kept him there over night on a positive pressure C-Pap. They removed it at 9:00am this morning and he seems to be doing great now. He is expected to be released from the NICU late this afternoon. Heather is tired but doing great!

Congrats Heather! We happened to love the name Luke (our youngest!) and you will get over people always saying "Luke, I am your father." I'd never even see star wars before we had him. Oh well. And don't let Kacie make fun of you for calling him Lukey, because its inevitable!
