Good Morning Missouri!

We rented the most quaint little cottage on Lake Tablerock that had three bedrooms out all by itself on a peninsula on the lake! It was awesome! There was no one else near us and so peaceful!! The kids of course woke up early and dragged Grandma outside to explore since we arrived at dark! Lily first thing found a dead snake and thought that was the best thing ever! We took our sweet time this morning before heading out to Silver Dollar City. We stopped at Bob Evans for breakfast first and got to Silver Dollar City by noon. My dad would have had a heart attack not being at the park right when it opened but I quite enjoyed taking our time!!!

That's my Lily! Not afraid of anything and my little tom boy!! Love her!

SILVER DOLLAR CITY

We finally arrived at noon and decided to take the tour through Marvel Cave first before enjoying the park! It is such a cool cave and Craig loved it! There were a few bats flying around too for the kids to see. I could not believe how sore my calves were the next few days from climbing the 600 and something stairs down. I thought I was in shape but I guess wearing a heavy backpack and carrying a heavy toddler through almost the whole thing worked out some different muscles!! HAHA

After the cave we just rode some rides, snacked, and rode more rides. Most of the shops and things to see were not open yet since season was not starting for another couple of weeks. We could not have asked for better weather though! It was gorgeous. We left the park around 6 pm and went back to the cottage tuckered out!

Our train was being robbed by the baldnobbers! Oh no!!!

Lily handed over her pennies!

Forgot to take this shot when entering the park so these three got to do the honors! Luke was to tired and so was the rest of us!!!

He didn't make it ten minutes in the car and was out!

Story before bed! The kids loved it!
