The BBQ Thursday Night Before The Wedding

They had a really great bbq for everyone at the Diamond House a few nights before the wedding! It was a really fun time and great way for everyone to become acquainted with each other from both sides of the family!!!

Aren't we cute! We actually flew standby on an earlier flight so we could make it to this event. We drove straight from the airport to the bbq! Ben was surprised we were even there! It was fun to surprise him!

So, on June 14th 2008 we gained a new sister-in-law!! Her name is Maggie Diamond and we love her to death! The wedding was amazing!! Talk about a fun party! It all started on Thursday night and ended Sunday morning! We are very grateful we were able to be there for Ben and Maggie and wish them the best! They are perfect for each other. The wedding was at La Caille a very nice French Restaurant up in Little Cottonwood Canyon! It was a perfect day for their wedding and fun was had by all. Lily was a flower girl and Jake the ring bearer! They were both excited by their roles! Here are a few of our favorite pictures!

Lily was throwing up the whole morning before the wedding. She was in a terrible mood most of the day. We didn't think she was going to get to be there for it, but stuck it out for the happy couple!

Mike got to do a little "talk" for the ceremony and did a great job!

He was sitting at the edge of his seat asking me every second if they said his name yet to come up! It was really cute!

The flower girls were so cute! I wish Lily was not sick that day! She was a trooper for trying to be a little happy! Not for pictures though!

Maggie changed into a dress of her own after the wedding for the dinner and party afterward! She looked awesome!! Not many people can pull off a dress like this and it was so beautiful on her!

Mike gave the best toast ever!! He had all 120 or so people at the wedding laughing so hard. I was very proud of him! He did a great job!

The band at the wedding was unbelievable! It was a live band and they could play so many different amazing music! It was so fun dancing the night away! Barbara danced the entire night!!

Megan was a beautiful bridesmaid and helped so much with all the wedding goings on! Tom actually got on the dance floor once and danced! We were so proud of him!
