First Day of School Round Two!

So we finally got the call that we were transferred!  What a complete pain this whole process was.  I think it helped that we were forgotten everyday by the bus and never picked up.  I even met with the head of transportation and our bus driver yet still forgotten.  They told Mike we were denied transfer and I put up a stink about buses forgetting us and then the principle at Prairie Vale called and gave us the good news.  She said the administration left it up to her to make the decision which had never happened before!  I think they were sick of hearing from me HAHA.  Thank goodness I had been open about it all with the kids and they knew they could be moving schools soon after it started.  Prairie Vale has a much smaller student population which I am really excited about!  The kids are such troopers.  Lily just said, "I will just make new friends" and Leif was just really indifferent!  I picked them up from school on Friday at Grove Valley and grabbed all of their school supplies.  Lily was so cute.  She had a hard time saying goodbye to her friends and cried the whole way home but then forgot about the whole thing that night!  I bought them their new school shirts and got them excited to wear them to their first day at their new school!  They were both so excited to meet new friends and get new teachers.  We went a little early and got to meet their teachers and see their classrooms!  They loved it and had a wonderful first day!  The principle at this school is AMAZING!  Pay not attention to the placement of Leif's hands in the first picture!  Silly kid!
