CHRISTMAS EVE!!! AND IT SNOWED!!!!

MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!! This is only the 13th time Oklahoma has had a white Christmas since 1889! Can you believe it! We were supposed to have dinner with my parents and Ryan and Sarah and their kids but all the roads and highways are closed with tons of people stranded everywhere. Crazy! The kids and their dad had a blast playing in the snow and sledding down the roof! Oh it brings back so many memories! Apparently this is the most snowfall at one time on record ever here! Who says it never snows in Oklahoma! After playing in the snow we came in, got warm, and had dinner! We had fish sticks and broccoli cheese soup! Sarah was going to bring over most of Christmas dinner and so we scrounged around for what we had to make!!! It was good though! This will be the first Christmas morning that my kids will not have a grandparent around to share it with. Weird! We are going to have a great time with just us though! After dinner we opened our new pajama presents got all snugged up in them and read the story of the birth of Jesus! It was a great evening. Now the kids are off to bed and I have to get on the ball! HAHA Merry Christmas!!!

Bundled up and ready to go!!!

The fort is coming along nicely but still not finished!

This big tree fell down the pathway out to our land!

All Lily could talk about was making a snow angel!

Sledding down the roof!!!

What a cutie!!!

Check out Lily's nose!!

The sledding hill!!!

SNUG AS BUGS IN THEIR NEW
PJS!!!
NIGHTY NIGHT!!!

The pictures of the kids sledding down the roof bring back memories of when Ryan and I lived there. The Christmas after Rachel was born was just like what you're having now. Rach and I would go out and watch Ryan sled down again and again and again! So much fun! Love all your posts! You DO have the cutest kids (well...next to mine!)! Have a Merry Christmas and stay warm and safe!

How did I not notice that you have updated your blog...a lot! I haven't seen any post since Mike's dad's new pearly whites! I can't figure out who Luke looks like, he's adorable though! Leif and Chase would have a grand time eating all the chocolate. Chase is really good about being sneaky! I wish we lived closer, I sure miss having you guys around!! Keep watching the air fairs for me :)
