Christmas morning was lots of fun!!! The kids actually let us sleep in. Okay, our silly boy Jake was up at 6:15 but did not want to wake anyone up. Mike and I came out at about 7:30 and asked him why he didn't wake anyone up and he simply said, "well I wanted to let everyone get good sleep." Crazy kid! Whose kid is that anyway? This was our first Christmas since we had kids without a Grandparent around to enjoy it with us. The Bushman Grandparents were snowed in. It was nice having it with just our family! We spent the day relaxing, playing with new toys, and playing in the snow! What a great Christmas!!!
Oklahoma's Beautiful White Christmas!
They spotted their presents from Santa first!!!
My sweet Lily had been asking for walkie talkies from Santa all month! I think she heard Brenna asking for them and she decided she wanted them too. Well, Santa delivered. Lily opened her present, looked up and said, "Oh man, I wanted walkie talkies." We then asked her what she thought walkie talkies were and she said, "They walk and talk." Funny girl! Had no clue what walkie talkies even were. Once she found out how they work though she was a happy camper!
Leif kept getting so excited to open presents he would literally shake. Too cute!!!
Lily was so happy about everything she got!!!
Jacob had so much fun although I can tell he is growing up so fast. He was mostly calm the whole morning unlike his overly excited siblings!
What else would Leif do after opening all the presents. Where's the CHOCOLATE!!!
I need more!!!
Jacob of course had to organize his gifts just like he does every year! Funny kid!!!
Our little DIVA!!!!
Luke just chilled in the bouncy happy as could be the whole morning!
I am finally following the trend and doing a blog for our family. We have been living in Edmond, Oklahoma for the past five years and loving it! Mike loves his practice and has a great partner to work with. Mike has two practice locations and switches back and forth during the week. He likes the variety of people he gets at each location. We have enjoyed our many trips to Utah since living here. Our daughter Lily has some medical problems and trips to Utah have been about every three months for the past few years. There were only two doctors in the US that do the treatment we wanted for Lily and as luck would have it one doctor was in Salt Lake near grandma and grandpa Hansen. We enjoy living next to my parents and brother and his family and enjoy life!!!
