Ward Christmas Party!

Mike was in Dallas at a conference so the kids and I tackled the party by ourselves! My AWESOME mom came over to watch Luke for me so I did not have to worry about him all night. I put Luke in bed and headed for the party! Santa of course was there and we had to get some pics with him! This kids were dying to tell him what they wanted! Well that is except Leif.


As soon as Santa walked down the hallway and Leif laid eyes on him the water works started! He was not about to go sit on that dude's lap! Luckily there was a long line and I could try and talk some sense into him. HA He was petrified. I begged, pleaded, got angry, told him he had to do it, ect... I got him calmed down and told him I would go up there with him. Poor kid could not pry himself off me!

As soon as Santa handed him a toy and said, "It's okay Leif," he started laughing and smiling. Leif said, "Mom how does he know my name?" It was so cute. As we were walking away he said, "Mom you were right Santa is nice." Give me a break!!!


We got home and I hurried and put the kids in their pajamas and Grandma helped me snuggle them in for the night!
