It was Leif's 1st Birthday yesterday!!! He just up and decided that since he was one it was time to walk! He has been walking along furniture for a few months now and almost to the day of his birthday he began walking everywhere without holding on to anything!!! He walks exactly like Jacob did when he was a baby, his hands up in the air balancing himself! What a cutie!!! We love our little Leif and the personality he brings into our family! We just had a small party with just us and a little cake last night and will celebrate with all of our family members on Sunday with a bigger cake!

Heather, I can't believe you broke down and got a highchair! I also noticed that you have the same bibs that I have, aren't they great?! I throw them in the washer and they are like new again. I hope the party goes well and no one gets sick between now and sunday :)

happy birthday leif! what a cutie. sorry to hear you've all been so sick. we've been quite sick as well. i've had the flu 5 times in the last year and my kids have been exchanging bugs for the last couple of months. i swear they pick the bugs up at primary and nursery every week at church. hopefully the worst is over, for both of us!

I'm glad to see that Leif didn't do any crying while he was eating his birthday cake. It does seem like yesterday that we did this for Jake and Seth. And props on the cake. It looks super cute.
